Since day one, it’s been DARKSIDE’s motto to encourage you to slow down, take a step back, and enjoy life more. We are all about things that last, by choosing well-crafted products or looking for a healthy perspective on life. Slow living is now a rising value at the heart of all the worries.
In these trying times, we urge you to stay at home and practice social distance. Once the shock of our new day-to-day passes, we are confronted by what to do to survive these following weeks. Take some time to yourself. Try to see the positive side of seclusion. Besides working from home, take the time you would usually spend commuting to work or socializing and do something you’ve been meaning to do but are always postponing. Read that book you never finished, watch that series everyone is talking about, learn something new, an instrument, perhaps, take an online course, start meditating, make a schedule for yourself and enjoy your time at home. Do your best to come out of this stronger and wiser.
We are seeing the positive power of social media. We're already seeing different content on our feed. People are sharing more personal things. We’re calling our family more, skyping friends, even communicating with people we never met face to face. We’re not just part of one community but of various and different communities. Social media is taking us away from our solitude when we need to feel more connected. Let’s create different ways to communicate. Have a broader approach. Share your favorite album, a new recipe you found, show us your home, your garden, your window view… Be as personal or as creative as you want.
